Non ti pago! - I won't pay you!

A man lost between dream and reality, Don Ferdinando, owner of a lottery shop, is a dedicated but unlucky gambler. When Mario, Ferdinando’s hated prospective brother-in-law, wins a big sum after dreaming Ferdinando’s deceased father, Ferdinando seizes the winning ticket and refuses to recognise Mario as the legitimate owner. An absurd and comic dispute follows, whereby dreams and magic collide with law and religion in what Eduardo de Filippo himself described as “a very comic comedy, according to me the most tragic I’ve ever written”.
